President Bush's dog Barney is known for his gentle temperament. But when a White House reporter tried to pet him yesterday, he snarled and bit the reporter's finger.
Julia Allison must be so excited! The White House is pink!
Paris Hilton is surely pleased as well. Afterall, she was first to suggest painting The White House pink back in August, when she released a "campaign attack ad" targeting rivals John McCain and Barack Obama. (Yep, Paris is running for president. Kind of.)
The White House was lit pink Tuesday night to commemorate breast cancer awareness. Explained First Lady Laura Bush at the lighting ceremony, "In recognition of the mothers, daughters, sisters and wives who struggle with this disease, we're lighting the White House in pink, which is the color of the cause. May our lights tonight shine as beacons around the world, a signal of the United States' commitment to saving lives from breast cancer."
Now that's hot.

Yesterday on Today, First Lady Laura Bush and Anne Curry interviewed Barbara and Jenna Bush on what it's like to be a twin.
Details, details, details!
According to The Washington Post, Laura and Jenna Bush spilled the beans about Jenna's wedding details toVogue.
Jenna and fiance Henry Hager will tie the knot on May 10th at 7:30 p.m. on the Bush family's Crawford Ranch. Jenna will wear an Oscar de la Renta gown made of organza with embroidery, matte beading and a small train.
Jenna's not releasing pictures of her gown, of course, but sketches of her attendants' dresses, designed by Lela Rose, are above. Twin Barbara will be Jenna's Maid of Honor.
What did the Bushes score for Christmas? G Dub gave Laura a purse and a silver tray. (Can you imagine G Dub shopping for a purse?!) Laura gave G Dub some gear for cold weather mountain biking. The couple gave the twins, Jenna and Barbara, housewares for their apartments.
