In the August issue of Harper's Bazaar, Katherine Schwarzenegger, 21, talks about family, personal goals and her future.

Katherine opens up about coping with the very public separation of her parents, journalist Maria Shriver and actor/former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. A get away to London, retail therapy and listening to Adele got her through the hard times.

"Oh! I'm obsessed with Adele.  It's the best emotional music," she told the magazine. "These past two months, I'm like, bring it on, Adele."

A senior at the University of Southern California (Go Trojans!), Katherine is more than just a political scion and Hollywood daughter.   She is author of Rock What You've Got, a New York Times bestseller aimed at helping teens with self confidence issues.  She also gives motivational speeches to young women and helps her family organize the Special Olympics.

Sarah Palin is a grandma again.

Eldest son Track, 22, and his 21 year old wife of three months, Britta Hanson, are now the proud parents of a baby girl.  Little Kyla Grace Palin was born on Saturday.

Palin is already the grandmother of Tripp, a son born to her daughter Bristol and then boyfriend Levi Johnston.

Congratulations to all!

Washington, our own Alison Starling, news anchor for WJLA ABC-7, just got engaged!

Scream!

In Paris.

Scream again!

Beneath the Eiffel Tower.

Pass out.

Yep, Alison's long-time beau, NBC News Correspondent Peter Alexander, popped the question in the city of lights, love and good shopping on Saturday.

The pair met as journalists for competing stations in Seattle, but they didn't start dating seriously until they both landed here on the east coast. (Peter works out of New York.)

"She is fantastic," says Peter. "And we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together."

Too cute!

Congratulations to the happy couple, who plan to tie the knot in the spring.
