Pelosi unveils health care plan

When it comes to health care reform, we're hoping for a plan with mandatory fat days. 

As in, "Hello, Boss? I'm a little bloated and my Ann Taylor pencil skirt is a bit snug.  I'm calling in fat today." Or more simply, "Boss, I feel fat." 

"Feel better.  See you tomorrow!" responds Boss, with cheerful empathy.

House Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has a few ideas about health care reform too.  She released a $894 billion bill Thursday that would, according to her, extend healthcare coverage to 36 million families without adding to the federal deficit.  The bill does not include a public healthcare plan option.

The response? Republicans say they're holding out for less bureaucracy and a smaller price tag. 

Liberals are holding out for a public option.

And we're holding out for the fat days.
