How to look hot at the polls

How do you look hot at the polls?  You just show up to vote!  There's nothing hotter than a girl who has her say.

And if you're anything like us, exercising your right to vote is the most exercise you've had in 3 months!  How many calories does putting a checkmark next to a candidate's name burn?

Anyway, the polls will have lines longer than those to get in the hottest New York clubs (only difference is everbody gets in... well, as long as you're an American citizen and you registered to vote).  So to be more comfortable while you wait (and make sure you get to vote), you want have:

your ID (though if you don't have your ID, many states offer other options)

a cute pair of flats

a handbag (a hot one, of course) to carry all of your stuff

a book

an iPod

a radio or phone with TV, so you can keep up with the latest scoop while you wait

if it's cold in your neck of the woods, add a warm jacket, hat, scarf and gloves to the list

if it's gorgeous, sunny and warm where you live, add a cool pair of shades to the list (Bitch.)

a nice lip gloss (well, why not?  you never know who you'll meet in line to vote these days...)

And the most important thing to bring with you to the polls? Your well-informed (hey, you've been reading Polichicks for nearly 2 years now) and decisive mind. No eeny meeny miney moe picks today, girls.  America has too much riding on this election.

Now get thee to your poll and VOTE.
