Daily Polichicks - Monday
What a difference a day makes! Those on Wall Street woke up this Monday morning to find more change than even Barack Obama could have anticipated. And on a sad note, many people in the Gulf Coast woke up Sunday morning to to find that they had lost loved ones, homes, and communities overnight. We're thinking of those folks today. Be grateful for what you have and take nothing for granted, Polichicks.

Campaign 08
Former Bush advisor and Republican strategist Karl Rove said Sunday that John McCain has "gone one step too far" in his ads attcking Barack Obama. Rove said that McCain is "attributing to Obama things that are, you know, beyond the '100 percent truth' test." [CNN]
Barack Obama raised $66 million in August ($20 million more than rival John McCain raised). That's a whole lotta change. [The Los Angeles Times]
U.S. News
There were major shake ups on Wall Street over the weekend. Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy, Merrill Lynch was sold and AIG faces restructiring. [AP]
USC killed Ohio State, beating them 35-3 in a football match up on Saturday night. Go Trojans! [Yahoo]
What could be better than the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2? The Sisterhood of the traveling diamond necklace. Women pooled their cash to buy a $15,000 diamond necklace to share. [Yahoo]
